The doexpand utility located in the util folder of your NONMEM installation,
is designed to expand repetitive code lines in the control stream file, such
as is need for many transit compartments, for example, using template lines
with indexing directions. The full use of doexpand is explained in
intro7.pdf. For this cell trafficking problem, we used the DOE ... ENDDOE
loop directives, which then are interpreted by the doexpand utility to
produced the specific code lines, with increasing index numbers.
To convert the pre-control stream file TRAFFICKING.dtl containing DOE ... ENDOE
loops into an NM-TRAN control stream file TRAFFICKING.ctl, please execute the
following command in a command window, in the run directory where the dtl file is
located, for example:

\nm751\util\doexpand TRAFFICKING.dtl TRAFFICKING.ctl

Here the location of doexpand is implied to be \nm751\util\, but its
actual location depends on the location of your NONMEM installation.

Then the usual nmfe75 script may be executed, for example

nmfe75 TRAFFICKING.ctl TRAFFICKING.res
